Harddisk Crash - Again

My new 80GB harddisk is dying, again. So what is next? I’m thinking of buying a nice 160GB harddisk to replace this disk (and then send it for RMA). It is sad though that the cheapest 160GB 2.5″ sata is from Samsung, just like the faulty 80GB.

Dude, why don’t you buy a harddisk from a real brand. There’s a reason they’re the cheapest. Samsung is incredibly good at sucking, not just with the harddisks. They manage to launch products that aren’t ready yet and have to be fixed through firmware updates (just an experience with Samsung DVB tuners)

I know, that is why I am now getting a 160GB WD and not a Samsung
