Note that some people experienced kernel panics after they installed a WD Scorpio in their MacBooks and MacBook Pro's. Cause of these kernel panics is a conflict between the ShockGuard technology from WD and the Sudden Motion Sensor of the MacBook. See http://www.macspecialist.org/content/articles/macbook_pro_owners_beware/ You could disable the Sudden Motion Sensor to resolve this conflict. See http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=300724 how to do this.

There are also a lot of people who had no problems at all and the HD works just perfectly.
