I wanted it for a while already and here it is: the blog is now multilingual. This makes it easy for my family to read my dense tech talk I hope. You can change the language per post or set your default setting on the side.
Ik wilde het al een tijdje maar hier is het dan ook: het blog is nu beschikbaar in het Nederlands EN Engels. Ik hoop dat sommige dingen nu wat toegankelijker worden. Per artikel kan er een taal gekozen worden, en aan de rechter kant kan de standaard taal gekozen worden.

Besides a 50mm lens I also managed to buy an old Nikon F601 camera on Marktplaats. I still have to buy some film for it before I can start playing around with it. Anyone have any suggestions of what film to buy?

Naast een 50mm lens heb ik oon een oude Nikon film camera gekocht op Marktplaats. Ik moet nog ff een film rolletje er in kopen maar dat komt nog wel. Iemand enige suggesties welke rolletjes en welke iso handig is om een keer mee te beginnen?

I ordered some new glasses today. They won’t be done until 2 weeks but I managed to grab a snap of the frame. I hope to pick them up when we are back from Berlin.

Finally finished my Literature Report a couple of months late. It’s 44 pages while I wanted to get about 25. It has references to The Long Tail and a bunch of blogs. I hope my supervisor likes it as I really don’t want to write about this topic for a couple of weeks/months.

I recently bought a rather old 50mm f1/2 lens on marktplaats which doesn’t meter or focus on my Nikon D40. It is actually pretty easy to shoot with and will hopefully give me some nice sense of what aperture and shutter-speeds to use in which situations.
