The guys from FOWA finally send me the conference-in-a-box disk that they promised a while back. Kind of extremely nice of them to also send it to me as I was just a volunteer. It has all the presentations as video on it and a bunch of photos. Unfortunately the person that build the dvd didn’t do a particular good job, as all the video is still interlaced which is stupid as the dvd is not usable as a DVD in a standalone player. Still glad that I can now watch all the talks that I missed when I was there.

De organisatoren van FOWA hebben me eindelijk de conferentie-in-een-box op DVD gestuurt. Op de DVD staan alle videos van alle praatjes en een paar fotos. Best aardig van ze om me dit te sturen aangezien ik slechts een vrijwilliger was en dus niet betaald had voor de conferentie. Helaas heeft de persoon die de DVD gemaakt heeft niet echt zn best gedaan. Zo zijn alle filmpjes nogsteeds interlaced, wat het heel vervelend maakt om te kijken op de pc, en dit heeft geen nut want je kan de DVD niet afspelen op een tv. Achja, wel leuk in ieder geval dat ik nu alle praatjes kan bekijken die ik gemist had.
