It seems Flickr made some interface changes, which broke my Vimeo bookmarklet. I changed the code and all is fine again. The new bookmarklet can still be found in the old post, but here is the new bookmarklet for those to lazy to click.
Melinda and I went to Mashed last weekend and we were asked to make 2 small fake movie trailers, to be shown before the main feature of the evening “Young Frankenstein“. Challenged to improve on our Torchwood Swede, we started thinking of some scripts. Melinda eventually wrote one script that lead to this little fake trailer.
More successfully though, was the movie edited and directed by us that shot by Melinda and Jane Tandy using my Nikon D40.

It is time for yet another installment of Cristiano’s Massive 20-Word-Movie-Review! (Here are #1 and #2)
Great story about two boys that remake “Rambo”. This is what I hoped “Be Kind, Rewind” would really have been.

Finally a decent comic book interpretation that sticks to what is good about comic. I really want more of this!

Not as bad as I expected it to be, including some sincerely funny moments. Still a b quality movie though.

Although it’s seriously outdated, it’s still the classic movie that will inspire boy’s adventures for times to come.

Sean Connery and Harrison Ford together in one movie. What more do we want of the second best Indiana Jones?

Unfortunately not the best movie ever, nor the best Indy. Still a damn good movie though. A must see movie.

Enjoyable, occasionally very funny, but not the perfect movie Melinda made it be. Good movie for watching as a couple.

I think you need to be in that happy place where you want a few kids, to really enjoy this movie.

Mel and I got a “prize” in one of our latest Moo orders: a voucher for 15% off on 1 pack of Moo Greeting Cards (that is £11.05 instead of £12.99). We don’t need any, so we decided to put the code up for others. I think it is only valid for one order, so go nuts.
The code is: egg74J7Y
Is it just me, or does the Me in Mobile Me look a lot like the Me in Windows ME? I hope it doesn’t predict the quality of the service.
Apparently Waxy.org has the habit of posting videos that are completely out-of-print and unavailable commercially, digitized from old VHS recordings. I have recently been following a 5 part series on the history of the computer from 1992. Very, very interesting, and very happy to see people digitize this to make it available to all.
Here is the first part, for all parts go to Waxy.org.
I haven’t posted any videos (or blogged at all) in the last few days, but I was at BarcampLondon4 last weekend and took the opportunity to record most of the sessions I attended. Now, unfortunattely for me this led to multiple GigaBytes of video, and as Vimeo has a 500mb per week upload limit, I have only been able to upload 1GB of video using Melinda’s and my account.
You can find all the videos on this Vimeo BCL4 channel, and more videos will be posted tomorrow. I leave you now with some video from the Faceball tournament I won during the event.
