I went to see Tropic Thunder on Monday, the new comedy movie by and with Ben Stiller. The movie is about a group of established actors trying to revive their career by making a “Oscar worthy” Vietnam flick, but eventually they end up involved with real rebels without knowing it. The movie is a parody on actors going to so called “Boot Camps” to get into a role and then end up making utter fools of themselves.

After I saw the first trailer I already loved the idea and I must admit that the movie stood its ground. The comedy was funny, the story was very entertaining, and some of the “cameos” were hilarious. Not to sure if this is a movie you need to see in the cinema but it’s definitely a movie you need to see some time just because it’s highly quotable.

Mel and I went to the London Bloggers Meetup last Tuesday, which was hosted by Smirnoff. Not only did we get our own customised cocktail, we also got a nice schwag bag with……. a bottle of Smirnoff vodka!

Anyone who knows me knows that I love Smirnoff and this is therefore possibly the best Schwag bag ever!
