Alternatively you could use fb:ref to make this cacheable and efficient.

I am calling Feed.publishUserAction. My problem is, since this tag seems to be broken, how can I get the feed items in another way? I am trying to do something similar to the main page of VisualBookshelf, if you know that one?

It seems the feed stories it shows are the one-liners that you can publish without prompting the user for permission. Just use the API call: Feed.publishUserAction

I’d advice you (and anyone else) to ask your questions on the Facebook Developers Forum (http://forum.developers.facebook.com/) because they respond way faster to questions and answers than I do.

I am trying to use the fb:feed tag to publish recent activity in my app. What I want is a way to see on the main page of my application what my friends have done in the application.

The fb:feed tag shows me an empty list, no matter how much I try to publish feed items. They do show (randomly) on the main wall, but never in the application.

I am using Rails (rfacebook), but since fb:feed is FBML that should be of no consequence.

I’m getting errors with the template telling that cretian tokens are needed etc, meanwhile, I’ve sure over and over again that they are in fact there.

The problem was that the page was blank, just with the script call.

I therefore think you have a problem in your HTML/FBML. Maybe log the output from your server and inspect what it’s doing.

I don’t exactly know where is the error because the only thing facebook is telling me is that there was an error while loading the app. But I am sure its at the javacript part because there is not much more on that page.

Do you think a bad template_data could be generating the error?

I have been using this exact code for weeks now so it works fine. Where are you getting that error anyway, in Javascript or in PHP?

I can’t get the automatically popup to work for me. I keep getting the “Error while loading page from XXX”.

What I am doing is putting the code inside a tag on the result page after form redirection.

What do you think could be wrong with this?
