Help me solve one of my issues with Upcoming.org!

Posted on July 10th, 2008

As an organizer and attendee of events on Upcoming, I noticed a big user experience flaw when it comes to sending notes through Upcoming.org. The problem is that when a note is sent to the attendees of an event, the email that is sent to the receiver, does not include the event that the note belongs to.

Many organizers don’t realize this either, which means that I often receive notes of which I can only barely figure out where they belong to.

Luckily, Yahoo has a suggestion board, and I posted this suggestion there to get it added. Maybe you can help this good cause and vote for it?

“Vimeo Flickr Set Photos”-Bookmarklet Updated

Posted on June 23rd, 2008

It seems Flickr made some interface changes, which broke my Vimeo bookmarklet. I changed the code and all is fine again. The new bookmarklet can still be found in the old post, but here is the new bookmarklet for those to lazy to click.

Video of the Day: A Tale of Two Bean Bags

Posted on June 23rd, 2008

Melinda and I went to Mashed last weekend and we were asked to make 2 small fake movie trailers, to be shown before the main feature of the evening “Young Frankenstein“. Challenged to improve on our Torchwood Swede, we started thinking of some scripts. Melinda eventually wrote one script that lead to this little fake trailer

More successfully though, was the movie edited and directed by us that shot by Melinda and Jane Tandy using my Nikon D40.
